Sire: Coho was born at TGK’s Nebraska Pointing Labs as a result of one of their best chocolate breeding - 4xGMPR the Cptn’s Sierra Shadow Ale QAA MH (c)* X 2.5 GMPR Trinity’s Power of Three (c)*. He is a gentle 65-pound dark chocolate lab with a calm and affectionate demeanor. But don’t let his calm nature fool you, when he hits the upland field his personality changes and he becomes an intense hunter with a strong natural point. Then take him to the water and you see a strong retrieving drive, great marking and amazing nose work. Coho has the total package: great looks, a gentle house dog, an amazing upland style and great waterfowl potential, not to mention genetically free from disease markers.

Coho’s Dad is Porter who is a 4x Grand Master Pointing Retriever and one of the best chocolate stud dogs we have ever used. You'll be hard-pressed to find an all-around chocolate Labrador Retriever and associated pedigree as good as Porter's. 29 dogs in the five generation pedigree have either an AFC, FC, or both. Porter's father is FC Nan-Dool Elwood Blues and his mother is Sommitt's "Little Rascal" MH.

Coho’s mother, Trinity is a gorgeous chocolate female with all the talent and good looks you could ever want in a chocolate.  Trinity also is a 4x Grand Master Pointing Retriever.

Dam: Annie was born at Dutch Acres Labs in Portage, WI on August 18, 2018 as a result of a breeding between Dutch Acres Diago & Dutch Acres Cocoa II. Annie is a 58-pound chocolate Labrador Retriever who is friendly and very animated. She is not only an extremely loving dog, but her extroverted personality is curious, personable and active. She is a quick learner and loves to please. Annie has a classic English look, with a shorter, thick body with a square head and a shorter nose. She also absolutely loves to retrieve and spend time is the water. Annie’s strongest points are her classic English look, her fun-loving personality, and her strong retrieving drive.

Litter Description:

Nice litter for people looking for pups that are great companion dogs with good-looking, dark chocolate coats, and strong hunting desire. Due to Coho's American Lab pedigree and Annie's English Lab pedigree, pups will likely weigh 50-65 pounds at maturity, be slightly taller than a purebred English Lab, have medium to thick bodies, and have blockier heads than most pure American Labs. Coho has a great on and off switch with a very loyal personality and friendly personality, so we expect that in these pups. Annie is very friendly with people and yet very intense in the field, so look for these traits in her offspring.

Litter Traits:

  1. Family dog = 9
  2. Upland dog = 8
  3. Waterfowl dog = 9
  4. Therapy dog = 9
