  • COMMENTS: Great litter for people looking for pups that are great companion dogs with good-looking, athletic bodies and strong hunting desire. Pups will likely weight 50-70 pounds at maturity, be dark chocolate in coat color, and have medium to blocky heads. Both mom and dad in this pairing are very smart, trainable and have thrown many fine pups for us in the past.
  • FATHER: Coho is a gentle, 60-pound dark chocolate Lab with a calm and affectionate demeanor. But don’t let his calm nature fool you. When he hits the upland field, his personality changes and he becomes an intense hunter with a strong natural point. Take him to the water and you'll see strong retrieving drive, great marking and an amazing nose. Coho has the total package: great looks, a gentle house dog, an amazing upland style and great waterfowl potential, not to mention that he is genetically free from disease markers.
  • MOTHER: Brooks is a dark chocolate, 55-pound female who loves life and relishes the hunt. She is enthusiastic, friendly, and a real lover. Brooks is a gentle and trainable dog who aims to please. Rocky, her father, is an energetic chocolate pointing Lab with an infectious personality. He has a "Rock" solid point and great retrieving desire. We are very pleased with his ability in the field. He marks very well, has a great memory, and hunts extremely hard. Rock is a top tier upland dog. This guy has guts. He absolutely NEVER quits. He simply loves to work, digging out birds in the cattails or laid-over cane in late season. Rock is gonna be where the toughest cover is working his tail off. Rock is a real team player in the field.
Rocky loves the water, to say the least.
  • ADOPTION LOCATION: Marble Mountain Kennels, or if we have enough clients interested, we may be willing to transport pups to Davis, CA (near Sacramento) for an additional $150 transport fee.
