Making an Inquiry or Reserving a Puppy
1. Whether you are merely making an inquiry or actually reserving a puppy in an upcoming litter, fill out our extensive questionnaire, which we call a Puppy Preference Form. This questionnaire tells us exactly what you’re looking for in a dog so that we can give you our recommendations for the litter(s) that will best fit your needs.
2. If you already know exactly which puppy in which litter you want, you can skip completing the Puppy Preference Form and complete the our Reservation Form.
3. Next, pay your $300 deposit electronically via our Payment Page.4. NOTE: Deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to a future litter if desired. (Deposits can be refunded, however, if the puppy you reserved in litter after litter does not materialize.)
Health and Behavior Guarantee & Policies:
All pups will have dew claws removed, first shots and have a full guarantee on hips, eyes, general health and hunting desire. Your pick in the litter is determined by the date on which your $300 deposit is received. Deposits can be made with the condition that you get either the gender or the color puppy you desire. Any Marble Mountain bred and sold pup which lacks retrieving instinct, is untrainable, shows unstable or vicious temperament, or is unable to work or hunt due to a physical or genetic defect will be replaced with another puppy as per our guarantee, based on the written analysis of a veterinarian or professional dog trainer. However, in order to claim our guarantee, we must be notified before the puppy reaches his/her first birthday.
Our stud dogs and dams have either preliminary or full health clearances for the following genetic diseases: hip dysplasia, eyes, and EIC (exercise induced collapse). Some have extra health clearances for CNM (centronuclear myopathy), PRA (progressive retinal atrophy), and elbow dysplasia. Marble Mountain Kennels tests all males for CNM, but we do not test all of our females for this genetic defect at this time. Preliminary health clearances are conducted before a dog reaches 2 years old. It yields the same result as a health clearance after a dog is 2 years old, but we obtain the prelim’ tests so we know which dogs will be allowed into our breeding program and which ones will not. We guarantee that your puppy will be cleared of hip dysplasia, hereditary eye problems (via CERF test), and serious genetic or congenital physical defects. However, please note that this guarantee is only applicable if we are notified of any problems before your dog reaches 26 months of age.
Our guarantee is restated below:
- Hip Dysplasia. Any Animal purchased from Marble Mountain Kennels must be X-rayed by 26 months. Animals older than 26 months are no longer covered under this guarantee. Animals under 26 months are covered with the following conditions:

- Animals with dysplasia may be treated as follows:
- The animal may be sterilized, with a letter by a vet confirming this to MMK.

- If after discovering the hip problem, the owner wishes to retain the dog and run it in any test or competition, the owner then waives the right to a replacement animal.
- The animal may be euthanized, with the agreement of Marble Mountain Kennels, and a letter sent to that effect by a vet.
