DESCRIPTION: This litter is likely to produce outstanding, medium build, muscular pups that will be terrific family dogs with a desire to please and a good on off switch. They will also likely be very good looking and intelligent, with a gentle personality. In the upland field they have the high probability to be natural pointers, and very solid upland dogs. They would also be very strong waterfowl retrievers. Finally, this litter is likely to produce great service or therapy dog potential.

FATHER: Tonka was born July 7th, 2015, as the result of a great breeding between GMPR Stosh’s Red Pointing Risky Ryder and Stosh’s Red Pointing Isabella in Holland, Michigan. Tonka is an intelligent and good-looking 66-pound dark fox red male. Those who know him love his friendly, fun-loving personality. In the field he is an independent worker with a good thorough search style, a staunch natural point and a strong prey drive, making him an excellent stud to produce great upland pups. When he is working, he aims to please with his people-focused attitude and intelligent, trainable personality. But he also has a calm side that loves affection once he has deemed you a friend.

Mother:

MOTHER: Dakota was born at Marble Mountain Kennels in Northern California on November 9, 2011 as a result of a breeding between Trojan & Indy. Dakota is a 55-pound yellow Labrador Retriever who is sweet, easygoing and very responsive. Like many MMK Labs, her personality is both sweet and intense. Sweet when she is inside with her people and intense when she is chasing her ball. Her owner says, “She is really gentle around kids, and allows everyone to climb on her and she absolutely loves to be with people. Her favorite activity is to go to the river.” She is also gentle, curious, outgoing, smart, trainable and very affectionate. But just as pleasing as her personality, is her good looks. With darker ears to accent her cream-colored face and body, Dakota has classic, but dreamy good-looks on a well-proportioned frame. Although she does not hunt for her family, we think she would have made a solid duck dog and good pheasant hunter as well. Dakota’s three best attributes are her good looks, her gentle nature, and her desire to please.
