DESCRIPTION: This litter is expected to produce well-balanced, trainable, and highly versatile Labrador Retrievers. With Kodi’s responsive, athletic intensity and Sundance’s calm, gentle personality, these pups will be intelligent, social, and eager to learn. They will have a strong ability to transition between high energy in the field and a relaxed demeanor at home. Their friendly and outgoing nature will help them form strong bonds with their families, while their attentiveness and willingness to learn will make them excellent working dogs. This litter would potentially produce good service dogs.

ADOPTION LOCATION: Marble Mountain Kennels, or if we have enough clients interested, we may be willing to transport pups to Sacramento, CA for an additional $250 transport fee.

Father:

FATHER: Kodi was born at Marble Mountain Kennels in Northern California on September 19, 2020, as a result of a breeding between two of Marble Mountain Kennels favorite dogs; Coho and Maui. Kodi is a 65-pound black Labrador Retriever who is very responsive, alert and friendly. He has a calm and outgoing personality, with a fairly extreme on/off switch. Notable to anyone who sees him is his good looks. He has a strong muscular build, with a black shiny coat, and a classic blocky head and chest. In field his personality changes and he becomes an intense hunter with a strong natural point. Then take him to the water and you see a strong retrieving drive, great marking and amazing nose work. He is the best athlete that MMK owns.

Mother:

MOTHER: Sundance was born on December 12, 2022, in Mount Shasta CA in Northern California as a result of a breeding between two of MMK’s favorite Trojan x Indy. Sundance is a 64-pound fox red Labrador Retriever who is very sweet, gentle and people-focused. She is a calm, alert and personable dog that loves her people. She was also easy to train and adapts well to new environments, especially when she understands what is expected of her. Besides her gentle, easygoing demeanor, people often note her good looks. She is a beautiful cream-colored 64-pound female that has a classic look. Her hair is closely cropped, and she is medium height, and her fur is medium in length. She is the closest thing Pete has to a personal hunting partner, and she joined him on an epic pheasant hunt one year in Montana. Sundance is also a natural pointer and loves to retrieve and train.
