·      LITTER DESCRIPTION: This litter is expected to produce black and yellow puppies with medium builds, muscular frames, and classic Labrador good looks. These pups will likely inherit Kodi’s athleticism and Kai’s sweet, gentle demeanor, making them ideal companions for active families. They should have a strong on/off switch, transitioning easily from relaxed and affectionate at home to focused and confident in the field. In the upland field, these pups are expected to display outstanding natural pointing abilities, vigorous hunting drive, and Kai’s natural quartering style. From Kodi, they’ll likely inherit strong waterfowl retrieving skills, an impressive nose, and an intense focus during hunts. With a blend of Kai’s trainability and Kodi’s responsive nature, these pups are not only potential hunting partners but also strong family dogs.

·      FATHER: Kodi was born at Marble Mountain Kennels in Northern California on September 19, 2020 as a result of a breeding between two of Marble Mountain Kennels favorite dogs; Coho and Maui. Kodi is a 65-pound black Labrador Retriever who is very responsive, alert and friendly. He has a calm and outgoing personality, with a fairly extreme on/off switch. Notable to anyone who sees him is his good looks. He has a strong muscular build, with a black shiny coat, and a classic blocky head and chest. In field his personality changes and he becomes an intense hunter with a strong natural point. Then take him to the water and you see a strong retrieving drive, great marking and amazing nose work. He is the best athlete that MMK owns.

·      MOTHER: Kai is a 55-pound dark yellow Labrador Retriever who is very sweet. She is not only friendly and loving, but her gentle personality wins over almost everyone who meets her. With a gentle approach, Kai loves to train and work on her hunting skills. Kai has a medium size body and head, with a smart looking appearance and dark yellow coat. Kai has a natural curiosity that promotes her vigorous hunting style and complements her desire to retrieve. She also has a subtle natural pointing style. Kai’s stand out among other dogs because of her gentle personality, good looks, and natural quartering ability.  

·      ADOPTION LOCATION: Marble Mountain Kennels, or if we have enough clients interested, we may be willing to transport pups to Sacramento, CA for an additional $250 transport fee.
